RMT
I has been working alongside Rebecca since 2016. I was in the first graduating class from Fanshawe College in April 2016 and was registered in August 2016. With a huge heart for animals and a particular interest in expanding knowledge and skills in prenatal massage, I am incredibly excited and proud to be a part of Rebecca’s team. Learning has always been a passion of mine, so I am looking forward to the opportunity to learn along side Rebecca and other RMTs.
Now a mom of two girls, I was inspired during my first pregnancy to learn Infant Massage Therapy, as well as taking a course designed to teach manual therapists about pelvic health. This means I can properly assess pelvic health (externally) and help clients identify possible causes of pelvic health dysfunction and direct them to proper care and treatment. Pre and post natal care as well as infant massage therapy are a passion of mine and I have dedicated myself to continuing learning as much as possible in these areas.
My interest in treating small bodies doesn’t stop at babies; I have a special knack for working with children and teens as well! Their growing and changing bodies get tension too (especially if sports and activities get added to their schedules) and they can suffer from stress and anxiety just like adults do. Massage therapy is often overlooked when it comes to kids and teens but it can be incredibly beneficial for them to set up good healthy habits in terms of both self care and learning safely about consent.
I am also able to provide my clients with cupping therapy, complimentary to any massage treatment. Cupping can be great for a variety of ailments, from facial/relaxation to treating acute injury it can help just about any body. Curious if it might be for you? Ask me at your next appointment! You can book with me directly, or book online.
